Hwy 152 East towards Los Banos
Hwy 152 merges onto Hwy 99 South
99 South to 12th Ave exit
Left at first stop sign
Left onto 12th Ave (2nd stop sign)
Right on Hwy 41 (traffic light)
Take the Herndon Exit
Left on Herndon (grocery stores along here for any last minute stuff like Ice but they close by midnight).
Right on Academy.
Left on Belmont. Reset your trip meter. Mileage below is from this intersection.
At mile 5, Belmont becomes Trimmer Springs Road.
At mile 33 there is a 90-degree bend to go over a bridge. Turn and cross the bridge. Do not continue forward on to the dirt road.
At mile 41 there is a hydropower plant.
At mile 43 is Kirch Flat Campground / TAKE OUT.
After passing Kirch Flat Campground, you will turn right across a bridge.
Before the next/second bridge, turn right off the paved road. Do not cross the bridge. Go up the dirt road (this is River Left).
Go past "Camp 4 1/2" and "Camp 4" to Green Cabin Flat.
If you get to Mill Creek you went too far.
Of the 43 miles, about 30 miles are very twisty so be courteous of those who get car sick.
Some of the campgrounds and river access points are very sandy. Be careful not to get stuck.
