Hazards: Weather: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comments: Great trip with a great group. They enjoyed swimming at every opportunity. One participant, Yvette, twisted her ankle in the foot cuff after lunch and received attention from our medic (cooling in the river, rest, elevation when possible) and was transferred to the oar boat. It appeared swollen and was sore - she had trouble putting weight on it to walk up the hill at takeout. Haya's ethnicity doesn't fit the ICO profile. Middle eastern? Pick something appropriate. The drivers donated their gas (Chris, Margery) and the trip leader donated the put-in costs of the guides. Oscar Castillo, who trained with ICO river in the '90s, drove his truck, moved 5 boats, and donated his gas. A huge contributor! He's talking about moving to Colorado. Maybe he can set up an ICO program in Longmont someday.
