This was a great trip! The weather was perfect and the lower flows on Saturday kept us on our toes with technical rapids.  Saturday night at Powerhouse was unbelievably warm and clear.  The water came up about 8" overnight so Sunday's run was with bigger water.  Everyone learned a lot about unwrapping, setting up early, and the best way to run Claveys. Clavey Falls has changed in the last few years. The left side, formerly a dangerous ledge, is now a runnable hole so the preferred route is to the left of the guide rock. The driver of the vehicle to be left at take out was not comfortable leaving the car for two nights at the bridge, so we hired a shuttle to insure the car would not be vandalized.
