We ran two floatillas. The Training floatilla put in at The Nugget and rafted all the way down to Cable Crossing (popular lunch stop on a "Gorge Run"). The Gear Floatilla (5 people, 3 rafts, 1 IK) put in at Camp Lotus and were waiting for Training Floatilla when it arrived at Cable Crossing at 5:00pm.   The primary hazard was cold. Many people were cold, even some wearing dray suits. This is the area where the trip need the most improvement.    Another concern was flow. We had plenty of water, but we needed to keep a steady pace down river in order to make sure we didn't run out of water.   While we waited for the river to rise on Sunday morning, we did throw bag practice and flip drills, lead by Shane and Jared. There were additional flip drills in Recovery Room Rapid.  There was lots of swimming scenarios, as Trainers were encouraged to take "accidental" swims.   Derrick provided most of the food, and it was fabulous.   For the shuttle, all the Training Floatilla cars remained at The Nugget. Meanwhile, the Gear Floatilla shuttled three vehicles to Skunk Hollow, and parked in the lot overnight. One car was parked at Camp Lotus. Once all the drivers reached take-out on Sunday, the cars at The Nugget and Camp Lotus were retrieved. The three cars parked at Skunk Hollow each received parking citations.   Only 8 Trainees attended BT3. Judy Ho could not attend, and Andrew Bentley withdrew from ICO.   Special thanks to...  ...San Jose ICO for loaning us their dry bags. ...Paul Steinau for loaning us a raft, oar frame, and accessories.  ...Derrick Wydick loaning us two boats and accessories.  ...Derrick Wydick for getting a campfire permit.  ...Mel Mac Innis and Bill Weinberg for collecting and returning the borrowed personal rafting gear.   We closed the trip at Skunk Hollow at approximately 7:00pm.
